CHANGES TO MY STUDY PROGRAM

Hi everyone again, after a while we return to the blog. Today I will tell you about some changes that I would make in my study program.

I have studied Social Work since 2021 but that year it was online so I did not visit the university in person and the whole system was different. This year I officially got to know the university and at first glance it seemed very big, so much so that I still don't know it completely. Some things seemed strange to me, like the fact that I did not see the casino working and there were few bathrooms for the enormous number of students there. In addition, the rooms in the old buildings are really small and do not have adequate ventilation for the summer, so maybe something can be done about those things.

As for the study plan, it seems good compared to other universities, the subjects have seemed very interesting. However, from my point of view, the duration of the degree could be reduced because there are additional classes that do not really contribute much, and this would also allow many students to save money.

The teachers are excellent and the teaching methods are good although for a first year student they may be difficult to understand at first. What I don't like is the load they put on the readings of some subjects, they are too many considering that most of us come from schools in which the number of readings is very low. In addition, there are subjects in which they give study material that takes up too many hours and does not cover the entire number of subjects.

I hope we agree on some of these points and that some time steps can be taken to improve the learning environment for everyone.
